Two arrested with homemade pistol in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: Police have arrested two persons in possession of a homemade pistol and its bullets from New Buspark area in Kathmandu.

A team of police from the Metropolitan Police Sector, New Buspark apprehended Joyal Thapa, 42, of Dhobichaur, Kathmandu Metropolis-17, and Raju BK, 30, of Bardaghat Municipality-14 in Nawalparasi on the charge of possessing arms unlawfully on  Saturday.

The two were arrested from a local eatery and made public today, according to District Police Range Kathmandu spokesperson Superintendent of Police, Dinesh Raj Mainali.
