Election Commission launches online registration for voters’ roll in Kathmandu Valley (with link)

Kathmandu: The Election Commission of Nepal (ECN) has launched online registration for voter’s roll with photo in Kathmandu Valley.

The process has been further simplified and has been launched as a pilot project in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur from Tuesday, according to the ECN.

Those eligible Nepalis who have not yet registered on the voter list could log in to https://applyvr.election.gov.np/ and fill in their personal details and submit to the District Election Offices in respective districts, according to a statement issued by the ECN.

Once the registration is over, one can contact the related District Election Office with a copy of the print with symbol number and other necessary documents for taking photos and fingerprint, ECN spokesperson Shaligram Poudel Sharma said.
