Kathmandu. Siddharth Bank Limited has provided financial support of Rs 506,200 to Nepal Eye Hospital located in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.
Ajay Singh Bhandari, Head of Circle Office of the Bank, Tripureshwor, handed over the amount to Dr Gopal Prasad Pokharel, President of Nepal Eye Hospital.
The money received from the bank will be used by Nepal Eye Hospital to provide free glasses to 675 students identified under the vision screening program of community schools, the bank said in a press release.
The bank has been conducting various programs in health, environment and various other fields as part of corporate social responsibility, reads the release.
