Covid-19: 438 new cases and two deaths recorded in last 24 hours

Kathmandu: A total of 438 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the last 24 hours in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new cases were identified from 1,779 RT-PCR and 1,920 antigen tests.

With the new cases, the Covid-19 tally has reached 986,100 (in PCR tests) and 142,509 (in antigen tests) in the country.

Similarly, the Ministry confirmed that 277 patients have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of recovered patients has reached 969,765 so far. The recovery rate stands at 98.3 percent.

According to the Ministry, two Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours. The Ministry stated that the total number of deaths from coronavirus infection has reached 11,966.

The Ministry has further shared that there are 3,714 active cases of coronavirus.
