Shree Airlines aircraft makes emergency landing at Nepalgunj airport

Kathmandu: An aircraft of Shree Airlines that took off from Nepalgunj airport for Kathmandu made an emergency landing at the airport a few minutes later it took to the skies.

The aircraft was forced to return after detecting a technical glitch in a left engine. The aircraft that took off at 9:49 am with 79 passengers and four crew members opted for an emergency landing following fumes from the left engine.

The airport official said that all the passengers were safely disembarked from the aircraft.
