Covid-19: 660 new cases and one death recorded in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: A total of 660 new cases of Covid-19 were been reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

The cases were confirmed from 4,682 samples tested through RT-PCR and antigen methods in various laboratories across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Population on Saturday.

During the same period, 444 patients recovered from the infection.

One new death was recorded during the past 24 hours. Nepal’s Covid-19 death toll stands at 11,971 as of Saturday afternoon.

The number of active cases stands at 5,641 in the country.
