Constitution day marked amid main function attended by President Bhandari

Kathmandu: Nepal on Monday marked the eighth constitution by organizing state functions. The constitution of Nepal (2025) was promulgated on September 20, 2015 (Asoj 3, 2072). Ever since, Asoj 3 is officially marked as the Constitution Day.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari attended the main function organized on the occasion of the 8th Constitution Day and National Day at the Army Pavilion, Tundikhel.
Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, ministers, chiefs of various constitutional, high-placed government officials, chiefs and representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in Kathmandu were present at the ceremony.
On the occasion, flowers were showered through a helicopter of the Nepal Army while several cultural events along with musical bands of the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force were staged.
