Fire breaks out at Kapan; one dies

Kathmandu: A massive fire breaks out at a house in Kapan in Kathmandu, leaving one dead, and a few injured.

The fire occured at the office of an trekking company, said police. “In the fire, several oxygen cylinders exploded, leaving one dead and several injured,” confirmed Rabindra Dhanuk, chief of Metropolitan Police Office.

The fire broke out at around 7:15 in the evening.

A team of police and fire brigades from Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur are trying to control the fire.
