Kathmandu: Kathmandu—the biggest metropolitan city in the country—is home to people from all over the country.

It is apparent for people from far-flung areas to reside in Kathmandu whether it is for education or job. However, poor road conditions and poorly managed drainage have made life challenging for both motorists and pedestrians.

Many of the city’s roadways get muddy during the monsoon season every year, and potholes fill with mud water. The roads become dusty during other times of the year.
