Pokhara: A Nepal Army player dies in a paragliding accident as he falls from the sky while flying a paraglider in the ongoing ninth National Games in Pokhara on Sunday.

NisimThapa, 26, fell from a height of about 100 meters while flying his paraglider from Sarangkot, according to police.

Thapa, who sustained multiple injuries in the accident, was rushed to the Metrocity Hospital, but doctors pronounced him dead, said DSP Sundar Tiwari, spokesperson for the Kaski Police.
