Kathmandu: As Tilicho, the highest altitude lake in the world, has witnessed the first snowfall of the year, the authorities concerned have opened the route to the lake for tourists.
The authorities opened the route for tourists from October 14.
The vicinity of Tilicho Lake, which is located at an altitude of 4,949 meters across the Annapurna range in Manang, has seen heavy snowfall as a result of active monsoon.
