CPN (UML) unveils its manifesto, promises to double Nepal’s economy in five years

Kathmandu: The CPN (UML) has unveiled its manifesto for November 20 elections to the House of Representatives and Province Assembly amidst a function on Tuesday.

The UML informed about activities to be carried out by the party through visual means. CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli digitally unveiled it. The manifesto has a total 20,000 words.

The UML in its manifesto has laid emphasis on welfare and sovereignty of the nation as well as political stability. 

The party has mentioned about an economic, transparent and pro-people ruling system, boosting national capital, fulfilling national aspiration ‘Happy Nepali, Prosperous Nepal’, among other major programmes in its manifesto.  

It also presented 20 bases for the implementation of its manifesto.

The manifesto promises to increase the size of the economy to Rs 10 trillion from Rs 4.8 trillion in the next five years. 

Likewise, the main opposition party also claims to increase the per capita income to USD 2400. RSS
