Nepali Congress candidate for the House of Representatives (HoR) from the Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta East) constituency-1, Dr Shashanka Koirala, is widening his lead against the CPN (UML) candidate in the vote count.
As per the latest updates, Koirala leads the count tally by 1,464 in the counts of 5,005 against UML candidate Krishna Poudel who has so far got 3,537.
Similarly, the Rastriya Swatantra Party has obtained 1,577.
