Kathmandu: Maoist candidate Lekhnath Dahal has been elected as a member of the federal parliament from Sindhuli-2.
Dahal defeated CPN-UML candidate Manoj Jung Thapa by a margin of 5830 votes.
Dahal has garnered 25517 votes, while his nearest rival Thapa secured 21687 in the Federal Parliament Elections 2022 (Nirbachan 2079).
