Lamichhane, president of Rastriya Swatantra Party, won the federal election with a margin of 34,170 votes.
Lamichhane secured 49,261 votes, while Umesh Shrestha of Nepali Congress bagged 15,091 votes.
Similarly, Krishna Bhakta Pokharel of CPN-UML got 14,649.
