Kathmandu: Dev Gurung, general secretary of CPN (Maoist Center), lost the federal election from Lamjung constituency. Prithivi Subba Gurung of CPN-UML defeated Gurung by a margin of 3,188 votes.
Gurung bagged 31,789 votes, while Prithivi Subba Gurung got 34,969 votes.
