Janardan Sharma wins from Rukum West-1

Sharma won the election race by a margin of 26,588 votes, defeating his closest competitor Nanda Ram Devkota of the CPN-UML

Kathmandu: Janardan Sharma, a candidate of CPN (Maoist) has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Rukum West-1. Sharma bagged 39,549 votes.

Sharma won the election race by a margin of 26,588 votes, defeating his closest competitor Nanda Ram Devkota of the CPN-UML, who received 12,961 votes.

Likewise, Tara K.C, an independent candidate, got 3,567 votes. Sharma had previously been elected from the same constituency.
