Kathmandu: A bomb disposal squad of the Nepal Army disposed of a suspicious object found outside the house of UML leader Gokul Baskota, who is also former minister for Communication and Information Technology. The bomb threat turned out to be hoax, confirmed police.

In March 2020, an improvised explosive device had gone off at the same house, which was under construction at that time.

Baskota has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kavre-2 through the recent polls.
