Pokhara plane crash: Indian embassy in Kathmandu provides helplines

As many as five Indian nationals were flying in the ill-fated aircraft, according to Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

Kathmandu: Following the crash of ATR-72 plane belonging to Yeti Airlines in Pokhara, the Indian embassy in Kathmandu has provided helplines to the concerned family members. 

“According to the info provided by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, 5 Indians were traveling on this flight. Rescue operations are underway.” tweeted the embassy.

Embassy is in touch with local authorities and is monitoring the situation, the embassy has said.
