Four killed in jeep accident in Surkhet

An ill-fated jeep en route to Surkhet from Chinchu lost its control and plunged 70-80 meters off the road

Kathmandu: At least four were killed and one was critically injured in a jeep accident at Birendranagar-11 in Surkhet district on Sunday.

An ill-fated jeep (Ba Pra 01-026 Cha 9213) en route to Surkhet from Chinchu lost its control and plunged 70-80 meters off the road at 2:30 in the morning. 

The deceased have been identified as Sagar Shahi, 27, Dipendra Jung Shahi, 33, of Dailekh, Babin Shahi, 31, of Dailekh, Rajendra BC, 36, of Dailekh.

According to police, Birendra Raj Shahi of Bhairavi Rural Municipality is undergoing treatment at the provincial hospital.
