5.9 magnitude earthquake jolts Sudur Paschim

Kathmandu: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 occurred in Sudur Paschim Province with epicenter in Bajura district, located in the Sudurpaschim province of western Nepal on Tuesday afternoon. 

The epicenter of the earthquake was in Mela, and it was recorded at 2:43 pm, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre. 

No reports of human casualties have been recorded, according to the Center. 

On November 10, the Sudur Paschim Province was hit by an earthquake of magnitude of 5.7, killing six people.
