Kathmandu: Himalaya SJB Rana, the first Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), passed away on Sunday morning. He was 95.
Rana breathed his last in the course of treatment at Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu at around 6:30 in the morning.
First governor and former finance secretary, Rana is also the founder of Himalayan Bank.
Rana will be cremated at the Pashupati Aryaghat today. He is survived by two sons and two daughters
