Indian envoy briefed about the issues facing Nepal-India trade

Kathmandu: Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) briefed the Indian ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava about the issues facing Nepal-India trade, commerce and industries on Friday.  NICCI welcomed Srivastava at its office in Kathmandu. NICCI briefed ambassador about the issues being faced and those which still remain for the last couple of years and urged him for his initiation towards resolving them. 

While welcoming Indian envoy, NICCI President Shreejana Rana introduced the executive members, conveners and representatives of as many as nine thematic committees of NICCI and the officials of the NICCI secretariat.

The conveners and representatives from the working committees briefed the issues identified by the committees.  NICCI has nine different working committees. They include 1) Tourism Committee 2) Event, PR, Publication, Membership Drive and Chapter related Committee 3) Indian Business Forum (IBF), 4) Industry and Export Promotion Committee, 5) Tax and Customs Committee, 6) Energy Committee 7) Banking and Insurance Committee, 8) Trade and Transit Committee and 9) M/SME Committee.
