Kathmandu: The Non-Resident Nepali Association (California) has decided to honor the Working-journalist Association of Nepal (WOJAN), and its president Janmadev Jaisi for their active participation to ensure the rights of journalists in Nepal.
According to the Secretary of the organization, Dipesh Lama, the decision to honor them with the “International Service Award 2023” was made for their strong commitment towards advocating the rights of Nepali journalists.
The organization has also sent a letter of appreciation and a reward of 20,000 rupees and a certificate to President Jaisi.
The award will be handed over to Jaisi on April 20.
