Manthali: The number of people killed in the jeep accident that took place in Ramechhap district has reached five.
]The accident had occurred at Kauchhini of Manthali Municipality-7 in Ramechhap district. The District Police Office has informed that the latest casualty in the accident was 50-year-old Dal BahadurAlemagar. He was the jeep driver and resident of Kauchhini.
Among 11 passengers injured in the accident, three with serious injury have been sent to Kathmandu for further treatment. It is said the jeep met accident due to brake failure. The jeep (Ba 11 Cha 553) heading to Kauchhini from the district headquarters, Manthali fell some 100 meters off the road killing four persons on the spot.
