Dhanusha: Two nine-year-old twin boys, Mohammad Alkama Ansari and Mohammad Abdul Ansari, drowned while bathing in a pond in Basahiya of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-24 in Dhanusha district on Sunday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bed Prasad Gautam from the District Police Office, Dhanusha, the boys died due to submersion. DSP Gautam said that the incident occurred in front of Gogal Prasad Namuna Secondary School where the boys were taking a bath.
After the incident, the boys were immediately taken to the Provincial Hospital in Janakpurdham, but unfortunately, they died while receiving treatment.
