Kathmandu: Amresh Kumar Singh, an independent lawmaker, stripped down to his waist during a session of the House of Parliament on Monday.
Singh’s action was in response to Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire’s refusal to allow him to speak during the meeting.
After being denied the opportunity to speak, Singh removed his upper clothing. Speaker Ghimire warned Singh of taking action if he did not conduct himself respectfully in the HoR meeting.
