Earthquake shakes Bajhang

Kathmandu: An earthquake occurred with its epicenter in Daulichaur, Bajhang, Sudurpaschim Province. 

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre in Lainchaur, a 4.5-magnitude earthquake took place at 4:06 this morning with its epicenter near Daulichaur in Bajhang. 

Prior to this, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake had occurred with its epicenter in Hukam, Rukum-East, on May 21. Recently, earthquakes have become a recurring phenomenon in the eastern and western regions of Nepal. The hilly and mountainous areas of Nepal are considered vulnerable to earthquakes.
