Nepal records 238 fresh coronavirus cases and five deaths in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: The country has recorded 238 more cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The cases were detected from 6,797 tests.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 5,295 RT-PCR tests and 1,502 antigen tests were carried out in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, 392 people have recovered from the virus. With this, the number of people recovered from Covid-19 has reached 804,108 as of Saturday. The recovery rate is 97.7 percent.

Five new Covid-19 death was recorded in the last 24 hours. A total of 11,540 people lost their lives due to coronavirus so far. The mortality rate is 1.4 percent.

Currently, there are 6,921 active cases in the country.

A total of 6,744 people are in home isolation. According to the Ministry, 130,688 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
