Sankhuwasabha: The identity of all 14 passengers killed in a bus accident in Madi Municipality-6 of Sankhuwasabha has been established.
The deceased are Sita BK, 30, Anjana Katuwal, 32 and Dikshya Katuwal, 5, of Madi-6, Bhawani Prasad Dahal, 49, Deepak Kumar Dahal, 48, Shayam Sherpa, 55, and codriver Umesh Bhattarai of Madi-5.
According to police, 42-year-old Indra Adhikari of Madi-2, Bal Bahadur Karki, 60, Sabita Karki and Aait Bahadur Tamang of Madi-4.
Likewise, Samishya Yongan, 31, and Sudip Ghising, 8, of Taplejung also died in the mishap. Bus driver, Bipin Niraula, 31, of Taplejung died in the accident.
At least 14 passengers were killed when a bus heading to Damak, Jhapa from Madi of Sankhuwasabha met with an accident on Thursday morning. The bus, Ba 4 Kha 735, met with an accident at Madi Municipality-6, Phulung at around 7:15 am today, police said.
