Gandaki government sacks another minister

In the last seven days, Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Krishna Chandra Nepali has sacked two ministers, accusing them of not supporting the ruling alliance for the polls.

Kathmandu: Kumar Khadka, Physical Infrastructure, Urban Development and Transport Minister, has been sacked on Tuesday. 

Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Krishna Chandra Nepali sacked Khadka, accusing him of not helping the ruling alliance for the upcoming elections. Khadka was elected a lawmaker from the Nepali Congress under the proportional representation electoral system.

Earlier on November 8, CM Nepali sacked Hari Sharan Acharya, then Minister for Energy and Irrigation of Gandaki Province, accusing the latter of supporting the CPN (UML) for the upcoming elections slated for November 20.
