Kathmandu: A hearing of writs filed against House dissolution has been postponed on Monday.

A Constitutional Bench chaired by Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR was scheduled to hear the writs today. However, the hearing was postponed after CJ Rana informed other Justices that he is unwell, said an official at the Supreme Court.

CJ Rana on Sunday had reconstituted the Constitutional Bench on the basis of seniority including Justices Deepak Kumar Karki, Mira Khadka, Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada, and Ananda Mohan Bhattarai. The hearing was affected yesterday after government attorneys demanded that Karki and Bhattarai should recuse themselves from the bench.
